| I like the D-ring mount better than the pigtail hook style. Don't have to worry about the strap slipping off. | |

| Yea! D ring style! I got mine free with Winch from winchdepot.com, but I also saw one at a Tractor supply store. That's a heavy part to ship! The hook style can be dangerous, a guy had one on a 1 ton OFF ROAD he backed up into a spot at work and must have just hooked the fence, well, he came back and was all pissed off about something and took off in a huff and took about 100 yards of fence with him! The two cars on either side of him suffered heavy damage! LOL JK but a D ring won't do that unless I am pissed at ya and I hook it for ya! LOL MC | |

| D ring for sure. I'd always be afraid of hooking something with the hook style. I can pick one up at my local 4x4 shop for about the same price as that ebay link. | |
