I want to confirm that everyone is getting the same error message when logging in.

This is what I'm getting.

i googled some parts of the error and there are a ton of forums out there which had the same error previously and were fixed..

(the link i provided is just an example of a similar error, but you can search more of their forums about the error)

all the same except

did dan do anything with the forum files prior to the site going down?

No, Dan is the only one with access to the files - that I'm aware of.

Yes i understand im just asking because many of the people who got the same error on their forums either tried to back something up or move/edit a file/folder.

He's given me the information and I'll look at it on my lunch break, if I can't get it by then. Then I'll look at it tonight.

did he try and contact the host of the domain?
the host should have a solution to this

Most hosting companies will not help you solve web page problems unless you pay them. phpbb was probably not supplied by the hosting company and is problem not directly supported by the hosting company.

Jeff, if there is anything you need, let me know. I have pretty extensive background with mysql, which I assume is the backend.

it stays as back up.. it would be nice if the old members still sign up for this site since the host will close it down if there arent enough hits monthly

i believe 20 hits per month but i believe we will be getting more than that due to MC.

20 should not be a problem... I check once a day also.

lets just say people will surely visit this forum since MC will be revealing his goodies here... one thing has already worked the "Totally Shrocked" thread already recieved 90+ hits
