How To Tie a Tie Empty
PostSubject: How To Tie a Tie   How To Tie a Tie EmptyWed Mar 28, 2007 7:57 pm

THE FIRST HOW TO (AND YES IT'S STOLEN)

1) The wide end "W" should extend about 12 inches below the narrow end "N". Cross the wide end "W" over the narrow end "N".

2) Bring the wide end "W" up through the loop between the collar and your tie; then back down.

3) Pull the wide end "W" underneath the narrow end "N" and to the right, back through the loop and to the right again so that the wide end "W" is inside out.

4) Bring the wide end "W" across the front from right to left.

5) Pull the wide end "W" up through the loop again.

6) Bring the wide end "W" down through the knot in front.

7) Using both hands, tighten the knot carefully and draw it up to the collar.

lol...I can remember the day my dad taught me this for a middle school dance. Granted for me about 15 years ago, but hey...good times. I was only going for a cheap attempt at being the first 'How-To'.

Haven't worn a tie in over a quarter century.
I needed this info last year when the boy needed a tie for his trip.
I gave up and got him a clip on...

I don't wear ties and I can't stand the top button of my shirt to be buttoned.

Thankfully my work is ok with it.
